We are here to provide flexible support that fits around family life.
We offer and deliver a number of services and programmes including antenatal courses, baby massage classes, 121 family support, dad’s groups and stay and play. We work with and alongside families from pregnancy and throughout childhood.
We are open 6 days a week, our friendly Navigators would usually be the first person you would speak to, either by phone, on live chat or in person if you visit our family space in Westcliff.
They’re here to offer a listening ear, practical advice and offer support through the ups and downs of parenting and family life, even before your baby is born. They can also connect you with a Family Practitioner who’ll work with you in a way that best suits your family.
If you are referred to us by another agency, our Navigators will make contact with you to discuss the most suitable support.
A great group for children aged 1-5 years, to explore activities and support your child’s learning through play within a safe and friendly setting.
A gentle, welcoming group designed especially for non-mobile babies.
A group dedicated to dads and male carers with little ones under 5 years old. Come along and spend time bonding, learning through play and meeting other dads!

As part of the Women in the Workplace project, funded by DHSC and run by Pregnant Then Screwed and Best Beginnings, we are excited to share that we have received an Accreditation for the Empowered Foundations training with a focus on women's reproductive health in the workplace. As part of the training, our managers accessed modules based on the topics of pregnancy loss, fertility, flexible working and eliminating bias to better understand the use of language, ways to support members of staff and increase knowledge base around these specific topics. Here at City Family we are striving to improve the support available for the women in our workplace
