What to expect from City Family as a Parent

So, you’ve heard of us, been referred to our services some way or another, you’ve got our contact details, now what? 

It’s hard to ask for help, sometimes impossible, it takes so much to reach out and say ‘I need help please’ so when we have a family call us at City Family, asking for our help, we answer every call, every email, every dm and every WhatsApp with dignity, care and understanding. You speak to a person, not a robot. 

Sometimes you can’t quantify what type of help it is that you need, it’s down to us to have a conversation with you, were we ask questions, dig a little deeper and see how we may be able to make your family life easier. 

At City Family we offer help with parenting, routines, boundaries and all in between. We work on what is needed in the home to provide a calm, stable environment. Everything we do is child focused, even with the work taking place with the parents/carers. 

When you speak to us at City Family, our Navigators will answer your call, email or WhatsApp.  They will ‘triage’ your needs and, more often than not, offer you two options: 

If we are unable to offer direct assistance, we will work hard to identify other services that are relevant for your needs and will signpost you to these, so you are on the right path to getting the right support for your family. If these signposted services require a referral completion, we can do that for you where relevant.
